Campbeltown Picture House

Refurbishment and expansion of this iconic picture house, built in 1913. The unique interior has been refurbished to bring it up to the standards expected by a modern cinema going audience, whilst respecting the historic building in which it is housed. The wider site was also developed, which involved the construction of a new build second screen cinema auditorium, café and a plant room to the rear of the site.

To see this much-loved Picture House as magnificent as it was the day it opened over 100 years ago is a delight. With the help of National Lottery funding, history and 21st century design have come together to create an incredible cultural centre for the local community.
